Just Do It

This morning was . . . interesting. I had to get both doggies to {and inside} the vet with a sleeping baby. In the pouring down rain. It wasn't that bad. It was kind of funny. The kind of funny that, well, where everything is a mess, but there's really no easy way to do it, so you just do it. With a couple of heavy exhales and some giggling. 

It's a nasty day here in Atlanta Decatur. Rainy and cold. Chamblee isn't in the mood to be put down today, which is just fine by me. It's a perfect day to snuggle.






After getting some advice from a real life car seat expert, that's right,  I totally switched my decision with the car seat. I went with this lady:

Since most of the gear we got for Chamblee is gender neutral, I really wanted to go with something girlie for her this time around. {After K said, "Just don't get her something super-pink." --oops.} I mean, she is a girl, and she'll have it until she's six! I love it. The good news is that if we do eventually have a baby boy Guffey, you can purchase covers. Boy-friendly covers. 

Did ya'll know that I have a new niece or nephew coming in about 6 weeks?! Weeeeee!!!
