Chamblee and I have a problem. Each. They are very different problems, and they are both pretty serious. Her problem happened to lead to my problem, so I'll start with explaining hers.
She pees. Through her diaper. When she used to wear cloth diapers to bed, they leaked/overflowed/drenched pretty regularly at night. So we started putting her in disposables overnight. That worked for a minute. Now, pretty much every night, her diaper overflows. From the top. We go in to get her cheerful self every morning, and she is sitting there. giggling. drenched in her own peepee. from the belly button to the neck. Her jammies are soaked, her sheets are soaked, her blanket is soaked. Pee. Everywhere. We haven't figured out what to do... Any. Tips. Are. Needed.
So, today I set out on a mission to get a couple of spare sheets and a pack of overnight diapers in Cham Cham's size. I went to Target.
Here lies my problem.
I went for sheets, remember?
...I came home with:
3 sheets.
2 pairs of shoes. Not just any shoes. A pair of pink leather snow boots. Appropriate. And the coziest little pink booties.
Leg warmers.
A sleepy.
Two pairs of pants.
5 blankets. Another problem for another day. Some are for gifts, though.
A crib set- bumpers and a quilt. You know, for that baby boy we don't have.
So. Before you call for an intervention, let me explain. One- I love Target. Two- and more importantly- everything you see here was on sale somethin' serious. Three- A lot of these things will be gifts. Four- K should have known better than to send me, alone, to Target after being stuck in my house for a solid week. Just sayin'.
After getting home and doing more math than I have done in, oh, 7 years, I found that I had really done well. I managed to purchase around $250 worth of merchandise for less than $60. Yes. The sale was that. good. I felt like one of those crazy cool couponers who had just gotten $100 worth of groceries for free. Except I paid. Whatever. Close enough.
See below for a breakdown of pricing- Original vs. Purchase price.
