A Cup of Suga'

So I went next door to meet my neighbors. That's where I left off. I went across the street first. In the cold, with a bundled baby. All of their cars were in the driveway. It was 5:30. Perfect timing. They are home from work, but not eating dinner. I knocked, twice, and got no answer. I just knew they were that private type who were watching me from the upstairs window- wishing me away. So away I went. To my next door neighbor. Sweetest man in the world. He has lived in this neighborhood with his wife since '65. He loves it here. We can borrow tools anytime we want. It was so nice to meet him. I got home just in time to see my other neighbors getting out of a random car. All of them. Guess they weren't home after all. I haven't made my way back over there. Yet.

We are making big, big plans for our home. Paint, furniture, fabric and such. We have ordered some furniture and have also found some at consignment that I am going to fancy up. There are a few Craigslist pick-ups in the works, and I am hoping to get even more fab finds this weekend via garage sales and some antiquing. Who's comin' with me?! K has a golf date with his boys so it's me and Cham to busy around on our lonesome. Can't you live closer? :(   




I really, really can't wait to show ya'll the stuff I'm workin' on. I hope it turns out as good in real life as it looks in my head. And because I can't have a blog without a picture of my baby...
