Bubble On

Day 2 of being snowed in: Check!

Cleaned out my DVR by watching everything and played in the snow ice again. We really wanted to walk around and maybe hike up to a main road to see how things were lookin'- I couldn't because of the baby, so K went out on an adventure. He walked a total of about 4 miles and returned home with more frozen pizza and a 12 pack of brewski. Nice. If things aren't cleaned out by tomorrow, I may get the trash can lid out and slide down our driveway. It's pretty steep and all ice. Even though my car is warm and toasty in the garage- I'm not goin' anywhere. I had dinner plans for tonight! Gah. The forecast is sayin' things aren't going to melt until Saturday! WHAT! That's crazy, but I am happy to have K home all day:)

While trying to avoid getting cabin fever- Chamblee has learned to blow bubbles, and it's pretty much hilarious.

I've also discovered a new product that I am in love with. I am a big fan of Baby Powder- when I don't use it I find that her little bumbum gets a little red. I guess from the moisture of the wipe and me not giving enough time to dry. BUT I have also read all the no-no's about using it and the talc powder getting in babies' lungs, etc. SO there's this:
Dustless Powder form Baby Magic. Brilliant. I'm sure it's nothing new- but it's new to me! I don't have any right now, but I saw it the other day and thought as soon as I run out of what I have- I'm gettin' me some! Another product that will soon be new in our home:

A diaper sprayer! Woop! We have been hand washing and shower spraying our cloth diapers for 5 months, and I am tired of it! Haha... Our shower in the new house has great fixtures, and I am not about to replace it with a lousy, ugly, detachable shower head for diaper cleaning. Plus, cleaning the bath tub every night after unloading doody diapers in it is kind of getting old. So, hello toilet sprayer! We are trying to decide if we should make our own or just buy one

I'm secretly hoping for more snow. We have plenty of food, and I am loving the blanketed movie-filled days and watching K and Chamblee have extra extra quality time. It's just so warm on the inside of this house. It's amazing how cold it is on the outside.

Until Next Time,
The Guff
