K is home, again (yay!) but kind of by force. His office is open, and a lot of people are trying to go in but reports in our area say there's still too much ice. The roads in to town are pretty steep and he's just not into taking risks. Such a blessing that he an work from home.
I am losing my mind. I have been talkin' smack about getting my bum on a cookie sheet and riding down our driveway -the perfect sledding hill- for a couple of days and today I actually got out there and did it. First I crisco'd the dump out of our largest cookie sheet, then I recruited K to flip video me. Poor decision after poor decision.
1. I shouldn't have crisco'd. That ice is already slick.
2. I should have padded my ba donka donk. I think it's bleeding.
3. I should have worn better shoes. Non-slip shoes. After I rode I couldn't get back up.
4. I should have rolled with it and not tried to stop myself. Hand burn= ouch!
5. I should not post these videos, because not only do I sound like an idiot, but I look ridiculous.
Oh well. For your viewing pleasure:
Right after I stood up the 3rd time, I bit it. Hard. Then I pouted and quit.
At least I got out of the house, and K got a good laugh.
Hope you are making the best of your day!
Until Next Time,
The Guff
