K flew out to NY early Wednesday morning and right after he left, Cham decided to wake up. 5 am folks. I had gotten up around 4:15/4:30 to make K some coffee, iron his shirt and send him off... so I wasn't having the 5am wake up call from baby. With an empty yet still warm bed I scooped her up and we had quite the snuggle fest until daylight.
Homegirl was all up on me
When she finally did decide to wake up, I decided to have a photo shoot. Her hair is always so. much. fun. in the mornings and I wanted to capture her sleepy face along with it. I was pleasantly disappointed when instead of thumb-sucking sleepy eyed Cham, I got a strike-a-pose teethy grin Chamberonia:
well, maybe not the very first picture...
While her dad was away, she got to go to my girls' bible study:
in her jammies.
We went to Target, where she said, "daddy, daddy daddy" the whole time:
She caught up on some reading:
And...she stole her diaper mid-change and literally got up and ran with it:
Today I did a crazy thing. Again. I made a chain link countdown for baby boy! We have 100 days left (well, 99 now...) and I thought it was time. I started during Cham's nap this morning and finished up right before "bed". I was supposed to be going to bed. Then I finished the chain link and started a blog. Oops.
Um, I think it's really short.
We also went to the park- where Cham mostly wanted to stand in the middle, smile at all the other children while saying, "Heyyyy!" and waving. Gotta say it. She's adorable. We did manage to get some swinging, sliding and climbing down. Until pregnant mama could not ignore her pregnant bladder any longer. Then I folded her kicking legs in half and felt like a terrible mom for making her leave. Girl loves the park.
also loves? her. shadow.
and sliding
I totally made up for it when we got home and played sock puppet for the first time. She's obsessed.
This baby is kicking me, and I guess that means I should try and go to sleep. He usually only kicks this hard late, late at night. Sweet Dreams!
Until Next Time,
The Guff
