On The List

So this morning I got an itch to rearrange the nursery. So I did. The room is really big but with 2 beds, a changing table, a rocker and a bedside table... it looks smaller and smaller. I think I have it just how I like it now. We'll see. I mean, it's how it's gonna be. Because I have to get a move on decorating this thing. I just haven't felt like it but now I am feeling the pressure and so I am pinning like crazy and making a plan. Here's a sneak peek at things that are on the list and on the way:

I love this.
There's already a frame turned chalkboard over Cham's bed and I need someone *cough YOU or YOU cough* with great handwriting to come over and write it on there.

I really wanted Cham to have a little corner for herself in the new shared room, and there's the perfect spot for this right behind her headboard.
Done.

I kind of like the idea of something a little more permanent, for memories, (in the pantry, the garage door, inside a closet, etc.) but something like this needs to be in that room. There's a little stretch of wall calling out for a ruler and a pencil.

If anyone out there sees a trash can like this, please let me know!
Perfect for a hamper.
Need it.

Can't decide if I want a book wall like these in the playroom or in the bedroom.
Or both.
Either way, one's a comin'.

Kind of obsessed.
I love baskets.
And I'm sure K really, really wants to paint or wallpaper their closets.
Maybe I'll let him.

And then there's this.
A laundry basket covered to make a bassinet.
I think this one is dreadful.
But I think it's a great idea. I haven't asked my mom to make a cover for a laundry basket before,
but I'm sure she's up to the "challenge".
She'll say it's easy. She's brilliant. Where'd those genes go?

Shelves for the baby room?
Over.
I love these. So much.

Where can I buy these?
Y'all know I'm not making 'em.

So, I've got a lot to do. It'll get done. {That's what K says, anyway} I'm having a hard time finding any alone time these days. The bunny's top and bottom molars are breaking through which leaves me with a frustrated and hurting little girl. It's all we can do not to snuggle up with our favorite owl and watch Horton Hears a Who. Sometimes she falls asleep, to which I have to wake her up so as not to extend her bedtime to midnight. It's a hard thing to do, but oh so adorable.

Off to get my hair did.

Until Next Time,
The Guff

  3. WHAT. EV. Unlink right now. I mean it. Are you crazy?!?

Otherwise, I love this post. I want to come to your house and wallpaper your closets. But only behind the baskets, duh, because I lack the attention to detail to get it straight.

    LOVE YOU!
