In the words of my mother, "I did a crazy thing."

Today I made a Chamblee countdown chain. Don't give me any creative credit for this- I totally jacked it from a snazzy friend.

"Why, yes, DD and Nona, I did get a haircut! Thanks for noticing!"

Basically I cut construction paper into strips, and with a little moral support from my tiny friend, I glued 95 rings together into a chain. We hung the chain right outside the nursery and will tear one off every day. I know, it's a little crazy. Which is what I told K when he saw paper everywhere and asked what on earth... "I'm kind of doing a crazy thing" I said with a grin. He loves it. (The crazy in me, not the grin).

Something else that rocks? We have a photographer and chose a date for our maternity photos today. I sure hope my belly button decides to stay in for those :/ Every time I cough or sneeze it acts like it is going to pop out. I am kind of waiting for it to happen- just to pop right out mid-cough. Like a turkey timer. POP. Sound and all.

Lucky me, I get to do all this blogging on K's new computer! (Only because Sir State ate the charger cord to mine yesterday.) He got one of those new Mac's. . . I don't know how else to explain it. Something something matte something 15" something Macbook Pro, blah blah blah. Apparently it's a big deal. All I know is that I inherited the "old" mac, and I get to put whatever background on it that I want. It's mine. I have to wash my hands before I use this one, and I constantly get the evil eye from K to make sure I'm treating it alright. When I told him I was using it to blog tonight, he said "can't you just tell me what to say and I'll type it?" Right.

Guess what we're doing this weekend? Nothing. Nothing, nothing, nothing. This hasn't happened since... Hm... I want to say the middle of March. Oh Yeah. I forsee sleeping in late, all-day jammies, open windows with a record on (unless those storms pull through), and mattress and milkshake nights. Lots of quality time with my 3 boys before the little girl comes around. It will be so nice to not have a plan. (Did I just say that?)

What are your plans?

Until Next Time,
The Guff
