Father's Day was a blast. We grilled out steaks and zucchini and I made garlic whipped potatoes to boot. It was so delicious. K got it right on and I vowed never to pay $30 for a celebration steak at Hal's or Ruths Chris ever again, when I could get the same taste from my own grill- and without the pang of sucking into a pretty outfit that squeezes too tight in all the wrong places and trying to remember how to walk in heels.
Filet for me. Ribeye for the man.

Today Cham and I went to Auntie Annie's house for a dip. Her first real dip in a big girl pool...
I have been wanting to buy her a tutu since birth. I saw one this morning at the store and just went for it. I think it was worth it. Don't you? And don't judge my precious princess by her wild-man hair. It just happened when I was lathering up her face with 100 proof sunscreen.
"No pictures, please!"
Oh, you know I love her feet all the time. But pruned? Be still my heart...
