A Place of Yes.

...And she's back. Our sweet little Cham Chamberoo is back in her old routine: Asleep at 8, awake at 8. I love it.

I think this baby's coming soon- if old wives tales are true. I can't stop nesting. Not just general, getting things ready nesting. Like, all of the sudden, shoot up on the couch and remember that the laundry room, cleaning supplies and paint all need to be reorganized. And spend half an hour trying to decide where the rugs should be re-placed. Because where they were was absurd. Also, I'm pretty sure the baby dropped. You know, Jake. That baby. Last night I was telling K that I thought he was sitting pretty high... then I caught a glimpse of myself in a store window today and thought "Whoa. You dropped." When K got home that's the first thing he said to me. "Whoa. I think he dropped." So, we'll see. Pack your bags ma, and wait for the call. I'm hoping for 2 weeks more. Could be 4. Could be 6. I'd die.

The laundry got finished today, with a little help from my boo, so tomorrow is bag packing day. Yay. With only 5 Saturdays until our due date {3 of them with plans} time for projects relaxing is running out. Will there ever be a Saturday just for reading and snuggling? Yes. There will be. When our kids go to college.

Hey look what I did today. Scored big at the kids consignment shop. This place totally kills me every time I go. It's so clean and everything is new-ish name brand stuff. How do they make a profit. No. Clue. But I'm not complaining. I got Cham (and myself a maternity top) this lot for less than $30 today:

I'm proud of myself. Yes, those Gap jeans are normally $30 by themselves. More importantly- Yes, those are purple converse. Yes, I die.

In other news, Chamblee let me put her hair in a half pony the other day. It was insanely adorable.

And why are her cheeks so rosy when she wakes up from a nap?
It just makes me wanna kiss her all day long. So I do.

Until Next Time,
The Guff

-ps- Am I missing something here?

What's the special?

  1. .......my bags are semi-packed, and I'm keeping enough clean undies, that the rest of the packing won't take long.....keeping enough gas in the Ninja to get there.....need to finish some projects though----but they won't keep me here, when I need to leave, AND. You only THINK There'll be enough time for reading on a Saturday when the kids leave home. I miss you all being here.AND, that label tells you something about the manager!!
