Today was beautiful, and pretty much perfect. I slept in, and then took the dogs for a longer morning walk than usual so K could sleep in even later. When he got up we decided that it was too nice not to go to Piedmont Park- and take the boys with us. It was warm, not hot, breezy and beautiful. We took some tunes, some snacks and a blanket. We walked around for a long time mostly talking about the future- whatever it holds- and people/dog watching. I love giving the boys a chance to explore around things that they aren't used to. Days like today also remind me how well behaved our dogs are. They don't bark, they dont bite and they don't tug. . . well, unless there's a cute little mini-poodle strutting by. I just thought today was wonderful. I love that I have Saturdays to enjoy and do with whatever I please; whether it be staying on the couch all day or getting out and smiling in the sun. Here are a few shots from the park:
But, no seriously, I am not really that big. It's gotta be because he took the picture sitting down. Bad angle. Anyway.
This week Baby Guff is the size of a large banana! Whoa. No wonder I have been having trouble moving around lately. Mostly if I wanna switch sides that I am sleeping on. No more simply flipping over. It's a 3-step process. Roll to my back, roll to the other side, and re-adjust. I cannot even imagine how much work this will be in a couple of months. I mean, it has got to be impossible if I get any bigger. Which, I don't plan on doing. I figure if I have gone 5 months and only gained 6 ounces, well, at that rate I should only gain about...well, I don't do math. But I know it would be less than a pound by the time Cham gets here. That's my math, and my logic. I will just keep losing weight in other places to cover the weight of the baby:) I might get a little bigger, but maybe not. I mean, some people are really tiny when they have babies! (I do have a funny feeling this is all about to blow up in my face...See post next week about how incredibly devastated I am that I somehow gained 20 pounds in 7 days...)
Well now I am rambling.
I love sunshine, I love my dogs, I love my man and I love my Chamblee. Life is good.
Until Next Time,
The Guff

You are so beautiful! Hope y'all are well. I look forward to hearing how things went...!!
