Hey You Guuuys

You Guuuuuuuys.

I'm having summer blues. It's been nothing but rainy around here. And where are all my teacher friends? You know... the ones who, during the school year, are all like "I can't wait until summer! We will hang out all the time! Pool baby!" Uh, it's summer. I'm pale. Where are you? Oh right. Camps and tutoring and vacations. upon vacations. Right. It's all a big lie! I'm kidding.

I have been selling stuff on Craigslist and Facebook as I have been packing... and I have kind of made all kinds of money. It's so easy! People want this stuff! It's baffling. And amazing. I'm having a yard sale in a couple of weeks... Have you ever had one? I haven't. My sistah-in-law thinks that's crazy because she had/has them all the time. I'm excited but kind of eh. What if no one shows? She's coming to help me. thankgoodness. Today the kids and I make signs. My very favorite part.

If I can stay awake. This combo of two kids and pregnant is wearing me to the bones! Chamblee is now waking up around 3 every morning and needing to go potty (yay!) That means I get woken up to what I think is the dog crawling up into our bed, so I kick at it, then I feel tiny little hands cupping my cheeks, followed by a very serious whisper, "mom. MOM. I need to go potty right. now." So we go. And then she is ready for the day. Ready like, "Can I have breakfast? I'm so hungry. Can you get me some water? It's very thirsty in here. Mom, you can't go back to sleep, it's going to be a beautiful day! Mom. Mom!" Most times all I can muster out is a cloudy "uh uh cham. nite nite" but I'm so proud of her I could bust. Big girl panties overnight are on the horizon. And so is her third birthday. Come again? That's right. Baby girl will be 3 in less than 2 months. For her birthday party? That she already talks about every day? She's requested a RescueBot theme with blue balloons and a blue cake with blue sprinkles. I can do that. Don't know what RescueBots are? They're transformers. This one is her very favorite. His name is Bumblebee.

I love my kiddos. I could not be prouder of the little tiny people that they are.

You know, early morning cartoons & coffee

no shame

seriously. no shame.

We haven't gotten to naming this baby yet, but at least it is on someone's mind. She usually asks to name him Silas (her tan baby cousin's name) So I was truly shocked when these names made their first time into the name-game.

Yeah, we wear our pajamas all day around here.
*fist bump*

Until Next Time,
The Guff
