Y'all. Things are getting rough around here. It seems like I am playing a game called "how messy can my house get before I clean it" and I. Am. Winning. I would show you pictures, but last night we had Bible Study over here and things got straightened up a bit. A bit. Things. are. rough. I went to get a shower this morning and there wasn't a clean towel. in this whole house. That. is the truth. I was shocked. The laundry has been sorted on our closet floor for daysssss. Didn't I have time to actually wash it? Apparently not. So here I sit. Dirty, waiting on the laundry to get done so I can bathe. Pathetic. Where is my housekeeper? Wait. Napping on the couch, that's where. What other level of low are we reaching this week? Well. You know what I did Monday? I talked in a "dog voice" to get my child to eat. Yeah. She wouldn't eat any of her lunch. Until I pretended that Bailey said, "Hey, Chamblee, I love Mac & Cheese, don't you?" and of course State said, "I wish you would take one more bite!" And yesterday. I went into the dentist and left my van door open. What is going on.
Well, I don't know what is going on but my friend said that pregnancy brain can last for up to 3 years and I am taking full advantage of that time frame. Does that mean I can multiply it by 2? Yes. I think it does. And if my math serves me right that is 5 6 years of pregnancy brain. This should be fun.
Until Next Time,
The Guff

It's ok Natalie, once the little guy gets a bit older you will catch up! You learn how to juggle as you have more ;). They require your attention so of course the house gets messy!!! ;) I usually schedule a day for towels, whites, darks, linens...and so forth... and clean up for an hour after the kiddos go to bed each night. Before I had a bad habbit of cleaning up all day behind the kids lol and at the end of the day I was beat!! Figure out what works best for you. Preggo brains happens to the best of
ReplyDeleteus moms....and tend to last yes! I've had close to 7
years of it haha.... Can't tell ya when your normal brains will return .... As mine haven't come back yet. ;)
Good luck!
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow. Babies grow up!! Then there is all the time you want to clean up. I had "set" wash days too, but there were days when the dishes would stack...... Isn't it a good thing that life's purpose doesn't revolve around a clean house? :0)
ReplyDeleteCLARIFICATION!! That was your DOLL baby bed!! You only pretended tosleep in it! Love you!
